Who we are

Manchester Dyno Centre provides dyno-verified remapping, rolling road sessions, and related tuning services at our facility in Eccles, Manchester. We're powered by 117Speed, based at HNA Facilities, Plot Zero, James Nasmyth Way, Eccles, Manchester M30 0SF.

For the purposes of data protection law, 117Speed is the data controller for any personal data collected through this website or through booking a session with us.

What personal data we collect

Depending on how you get in touch or book a session, we may collect:

• Name: so we know who we're dealing with and who the vehicle belongs to.
• Phone number: to confirm bookings and answer questions about your vehicle or the work required.
• Email address: to send booking confirmations, quotes, or answer your enquiry.
• Vehicle registration and details: make, model, engine, current power output where known, and what you're looking to achieve, so we can prepare for the session and give an accurate quote.

We do not store your payment details. Payment is taken by card machine or bank transfer at the facility, and we do not hold or process card numbers ourselves.

Why we collect it and how we use it

We only collect what we need to do the job properly. This includes:

• Booking your appointment at our Eccles facility.
• Preparing for and carrying out the remap, dyno session, or related work itself.
• Contacting you about your booking, including confirmations, quotes, or follow-up questions.
• Keeping basic records for invoicing, warranty purposes, and our own legal and accounting obligations.

We do not use your personal data for marketing unless you've specifically agreed to it, and we do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data for as long as necessary to provide the service and meet our legal obligations. As a general rule:

• Booking and job details are kept while they're useful for warranty or follow-up purposes.
• Financial records (invoices, payment references) are typically kept for around 6 years, in line with standard UK tax and accounting requirements.
• Enquiries that don't turn into a booking are deleted or anonymised after a reasonable period if we don't hear back from you.

After that, we delete or anonymise the data unless we're required to keep it for a legal reason.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.

We only share personal data with:

• 117Speed, as the business powering Manchester Dyno Centre, for the purpose of carrying out and managing your booking.
• Payment processors, if applicable, solely to process payment for the work carried out. As above, we don't store your card details ourselves.
• Third parties where we're legally required to, for example if requested by a regulatory or law enforcement body.

We do not share your data with marketing companies or other third parties for their own purposes.

Cookies
