Who we are

Manchester Dyno Centre is a fixed facility at HNA Facilities, Plot Zero, James Nasmyth Way, Eccles, Manchester M30 0SF. We are not a mobile service, customers bring their vehicle to us. We're powered by 117Speed.

Our services

We offer the following, all carried out at our Eccles facility:

  • Stage 1 remap: a software-only calibration for petrol and diesel vehicles.
  • Stage 2 remap: a calibration built for vehicles with supporting hardware already fitted (intercooler, air filter, exhaust).
  • Economy remap: a calibration focused on fuel efficiency.
  • Gearbox and DSG remap: TCU tuning for automatic and dual-clutch transmissions.
  • Rolling road sessions and dyno remapping: power runs and calibrations developed and verified on our 4WD Bapro dynamometer.
  • Launch control coding and activation, speed limiter removal, flame/pops and bangs tune: specialist calibrations, some for enthusiast or off-road use only, explained on the relevant service page.
  • Remote and platform tuning: via Bootmod3 (BM3) and MHD, primarily for BMW platforms.
  • Van and commercial vehicle tuning, diesel tuning.

We do not publish fixed prices. Every job is quoted individually based on the vehicle and the work required. Call or send an enquiry for a quote.

Remapping, insurance and legal use

Remapping is a declarable modification. Once your vehicle has been remapped, you must inform your insurer. Most insurers will note it on your policy, and some may apply a small premium adjustment. Failing to declare a modification before making a claim can invalidate that claim. We recommend contacting your insurer before or shortly after the work is carried out.

Some specialist calibrations, such as certain flame/pops and bangs tunes or speed limiter removal on cars, may not be suitable or legal for continued road use depending on the vehicle and how the calibration is applied. Where a service is intended for off-road, track, or enthusiast use only, this is stated clearly on the relevant service page, and it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the vehicle is used in line with the law and their insurance policy afterwards.

Booking and payment

  • Bookings can be made by phone or via our enquiry form. We'll confirm a date and give you an accurate quote before booking is finalised.
  • Payment is due on completion of the work, by card machine or bank transfer, at the facility.
  • We do not publish fixed prices, as no two jobs are quoted the same. Call for a quote specific to your vehicle and requirements.

Cancellations and rescheduling

We work to a planned schedule so that each booking gets the full time the job requires.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the slot to another customer.
  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect our ability to offer future bookings.
  • If we are unable to carry out your session as planned due to circumstances outside our control, we'll contact you as soon as possible to rearrange.

Warranty and guarantee

We stand behind the work we carry out. Every remap is developed and verified on our in-house 4WD Bapro dynamometer using professional-grade Kess3 and CMD tooling, not clone hardware. If a fault reoccurs that relates directly to the calibration we wrote, get in touch and we'll look into it. Our warranty covers the calibration work directly related to the job carried out, for a reasonable period following completion. It does not cover unrelated mechanical faults, general wear and tear, or issues caused by third-party work carried out after your session.

Liability

We take reasonable care and skill in carrying out all work. However:

  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage or mechanical faults unrelated to the work we're carrying out.
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the customer's use of the vehicle after the work has been completed, including as set out in the remapping, insurance and legal use section above.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
