Which vehicles get the best results

The 4WD Bapro dyno handles all-wheel-drive platforms correctly, which is important for a significant proportion of the cars that come through the Eccles facility. A standard 2WD rolling road cannot apply a meaningful load to an AWD car under full power, which means the calibration can never be confirmed under real conditions. That matters most on the following platforms.

BMW B58, N55, N57 and S55 engines are a specialism, gains vary meaningfully by variant, and the dyno shows the actual number rather than a manufacturer claim. VW Golf GTI, Golf R and GTD all produce consistent documented results. Audi across Quattro platforms, Ford Fiesta ST, Focus ST, Transit and Ranger, petrol and diesel. Seat Cupra, Skoda Octavia vRS, Vauxhall Astra VXR and Mercedes are all regularly on the rollers.

Van and commercial vehicle tuning is available. Diesel is handled with the same process and the same documented result as petrol.

Services, the outcome first

Stage 1 remap. More power and torque from a standard engine, no hardware required. The map is built to your car on the dyno, not copied from a generic file for a statistical average of your engine variant.

Stage 2 remap. For cars with supporting hardware already fitted: intercooler, induction kit, exhaust. The calibration is matched to your actual modifications rather than a generic Stage 2 estimate.

Economy remap. Lower fuel costs on the journeys you actually do. Output at light throttle typically improves alongside efficiency, the calibration is optimised for economy, not peak figures.

DSG and gearbox remap. The transmission calibration is matched to the engine map. Shift behaviour, torque delivery and response are consistent throughout the rev range.

Rolling road session. Power verification without a remap. Know exactly where your car stands, before modifications, after modifications, or as a standalone baseline measurement.

Launch control. A consistent, repeatable standing start coded properly for the platform.

Why a cheaper remap is not the same product

A generic remap costs less because it delivers something different. The calibration file is built for the average of your engine type, not your engine, in its current condition, on the fuel you use, with the modifications fitted. When the tuner does not run the car on a dynamometer, there is no measurement confirming the map is correct. There is only an assumption that it will be.
