Range Rover Evoque remap
Daily driver into the city, weekend trips further afield, or a plug-in hybrid covering both on electric power alone for part of the journey. Whichever this is, the Evoque's Ingenium engine responds to a calibration built around how the car actually gets used. Call 0161 302 5117.
Every service available on the Evoque
Stage 1 is available across the Ingenium petrol and diesel range, software only, no hardware changes required. An economy-focused remap is available for owners covering higher motorway mileage who want lower running costs rather than more power. Gearbox recalibration is available on automatic models for sharper, more decisive shift response. Standalone rolling road sessions are available for a baseline pull or a post-modification check. On the plug-in hybrid variant, the combustion engine's calibration can be adjusted; call to discuss what's realistic and how it interacts with the electric drive system.
Why Evoque owners remap
Two kinds of Evoque owner come through Eccles regularly. The first is a daily driver who wants sharper throttle response and a bit more mid-range pull for motorway slip roads and overtakes, without the car feeling any different at a cruise. The second covers longer distances more often, whether that's a regular family trip or a longer commute, and is more interested in what an economy remap can do for fuel costs over a year of driving than in outright pace.
Both are well served by the same starting point. The Ingenium engine's factory calibration is set conservatively enough to cover a wide range of markets and fuel grades, and there's genuine headroom in that margin whichever kind of owner is asking for it.
Engine and stage options
The Evoque's Ingenium family spans petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid derivatives, with outputs ranging from 148 bhp on the entry D150 diesel up to 300 bhp on the range-topping P300 petrol. Stage 1 is a software-only recalibration available across the petrol and diesel range. The PHEV variant is handled on a case-by-case basis, since the electric drive system interacts with the combustion engine's calibration in a way that needs discussing directly rather than quoting generically.
A visit to Eccles
An Evoque session starts with a baseline pull on the 4WD Bapro dyno, giving us a real figure for what your specific car is producing before anything changes. The calibration is then developed around your engine's own data and what you've told us you want from the car, whether that's response, economy, or both. Verification pulls follow on the same rollers, confirming the figures hold before the car goes back to you. Most Stage 1 or economy sessions are completed within a few hours.
