Mercedes-AMG A35 remap
Up to on Stage 1, dyno-verified, not estimated. The M260 in the A35 is a strong starting point in its own right. Call 0161 302 5117.
Mercedes-AMG A35 power figures
| Stage | BHP | Torque | Notes | |–-|–-|–-|–-| | Stock | 302 to 306 bhp | 400 Nm | M260 2.0 turbo, 4Matic AWD | | Stage 1 | | | Software only, no hardware changes |
The A35 runs the M260 rather than AMG's flagship M139, and it's easy to treat it as the junior car in the line-up because of that. On the dyno it's a genuinely strong platform. Factory output already sits above 300 bhp, and the figures above come from our own measured pulls on the 4WD Bapro dynamometer rather than a number lifted from a spec sheet or an average of other owners' claims.
What the gain feels like
The A35 is quick in standard form, and a Stage 1 remap sharpens exactly the parts of the drive that matter most on a daily-driven hot hatch: throttle response off the line, mid-range torque through the DCT gearbox, and the willingness of the engine to pull cleanly from low revs rather than waiting for boost to build. The gap between the A35 and more expensive machinery narrows noticeably once the factory's conservative margin is removed, without the car losing any of the composure that makes it easy to live with day to day.
Every service available on the A35
Stage 1 is the core service on this platform. Stage 2 is available where supporting hardware, such as an upgraded intercooler, is fitted, and we'll advise honestly on whether it suits your goals for the car. Transmission calibration is available alongside the engine remap, sharpening shift response through the DCT gearbox. An economy-focused remap is available for owners who want lower running costs from daily driving. Standalone rolling road sessions are available for a baseline pull or a post-modification check.
Dyno proof for this platform
The A35 runs 4Matic all-wheel drive, and that's a key reason a 4WD dynamometer isn't optional for this car. A two-wheel-drive rig can't load 4Matic correctly, and running a full-power pull on one either forces the car into a non-standard test mode or leaves an axle unloaded. Our Bapro dyno drives all four wheels simultaneously, so the baseline pull and the verification pull that follow reflect how the car actually delivers power on the road, with the 4Matic system operating exactly as it's designed to.
