Car remapping for Cheshire
Cheshire has one of the highest concentrations of prestige and performance cars anywhere in the UK. From Alderley Edge to Wilmslow, Knutsford to Macclesfield, Chester to Crewe, the county is home to drivers who know what their cars are capable of and expect the same standard from the people who work on them.
Manchester Dyno Centre is a short drive from Cheshire, easily reached from the motorway network, based at Unit 3 James Nasmyth Way, Eccles, Eccles, Manchester. If you are looking for car remapping in Cheshire and you want it done properly, developed on a real dyno and verified with live power figures before you leave, this is where to come.
Why Cheshire drivers choose Manchester Dyno Centre
There is no shortage of ECU tuning operations in the North West, but very few of them can show you the result on a dyno.
At Manchester Dyno Centre, every map we develop or install is run on our 4WD Bapro dynamometer. That means we measure actual power and torque output, refine the calibration under load, and hand you a car that has been proven, not just flashed and returned to you on faith. For Cheshire drivers investing in a performance vehicle, that level of verification is the minimum you should expect.
Samuel Gunnell leads all tuning work here. With more than 10 years of experience and an internationally recognised profile in the remapping industry, he brings a level of expertise that is genuinely difficult to find outside of specialist motorsport environments.

What we offer
All tuning work is available to Cheshire customers travelling to the facility:
Stage 1 remap The starting point for most drivers. No hardware modifications required, your car's ECU is recalibrated to unlock the performance the manufacturer left in reserve. On most turbocharged petrols and diesels, you can expect meaningful gains in both power and torque, along with improved throttle response and, in many cases, better fuel economy under normal driving.
Stage 2 remap Developed alongside hardware upgrades such as a performance intake, downpipe, or intercooler. Stage 2 calibration is optimised to work with your specific modifications rather than applying a generic map.
Economy remap For Cheshire drivers covering longer distances, whether commuting into Manchester or travelling for business, an economy-focused remap can deliver fuel savings without a loss of driveability.
Gearbox and DSG remap Automatic and dual-clutch gearboxes respond well to calibration. Sharper shift points, reduced torque interruption, and a more intuitive response to driver inputs are all achievable.
Rolling road session Whether you want to baseline your car before modifications, diagnose a power loss, or verify work done elsewhere, our 4WD Bapro dyno is available for standalone rolling road sessions.
Additional services Launch control, speed limiter removal, flame tune, and remote tuning via Bootmod3 and MHD are also available. Contact us to discuss your car and what you are trying to achieve.
The 4WD Bapro dynamometer
This is the detail that matters most if you own a four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive car.
Most rolling roads are 2WD, they can only drive from one axle. That means if you own a Porsche 911 Carrera 4, an Audi RS model with quattro, a Land Rover, or any other AWD vehicle, a 2WD dyno cannot properly load the car at full power. Tuners working on 2WD dynos with AWD cars are either limiting power during the session or working without meaningful load figures at all.
Our Bapro dynamometer is fully 4WD. Every axle is driven, every power run reflects how the car actually performs. For Cheshire drivers with prestige AWD vehicles, this is not a minor detail, it is the difference between a map that has been properly developed and one that has not.
