Car remapping near Northwich
Manchester Dyno Centre in Eccles houses a 4-Wheel-Drive Bapro dynamometer. Every remap is developed and confirmed on the rollers. Before-and-after power figures on every job, no exceptions.
What the dyno actually does
There is no shortage of remapping services advertising in the Northwich area. Most of them will connect a tool to your OBD port and write a calibration file that was built for a car like yours, not your car. Manchester Dyno Centre works differently.
The 4-Wheel-Drive Bapro dynamometer at the Eccles facility measures your engine's actual output at every stage of the tuning process. Samuel Gunnell monitors fuelling, boost pressure, ignition timing and knock events in real time on every run. The calibration is adjusted on the rollers based on what the data shows, not based on what a similar car produced on a previous occasion.
The session ends when the data confirms the map is right for your specific engine. At that point you have a before-and-after power figure taken from your car, on the same dyno, on the same day. That figure is not an average, an estimate or a marketing claim. It is a measurement. Any remapping service that does not produce one is not offering the same thing, regardless of how the marketing describes it.
The facility
Manchester Dyno Centre operates from a 6,000 sq ft workshop at HNA Facilities, Plot Zero, James Nasmyth Way, Eccles, Manchester M30 0SF. The workshop houses an in-house 4-Wheel-Drive Bapro dynamometer, Kess3 and CMD hardware, and a dedicated dyno cell. Kess3 handles OBD-port read and write across a broad range of platforms; CMD covers bench work where the ECU is physically removed for direct access. On-site parking is available. This is a fixed facility; there are no mobile visits and customers travel to Eccles.
