Ford's own engineers built plenty of margin into this three-cylinder unit, and the factory map is set to cover cold starts, poor fuel and hot climates the car will likely never see on a UK road. That margin is exactly what Stage 1 recovers. The figures above aren't pulled from a forum thread or an average of what other Puma STs have supposedly made.
