Fast estate, weekend track car or the one vehicle in the garage that has to do everything. Whichever this is, it starts with the right map for the EA825 V8 underneath it. Call 0161 302 5117 to talk through your RS6, or see the full range of Audi remapping we cover.

Every service available on the RS6

Stage 1 is the natural starting point for the C8 RS6's twin-turbo V8, developed and verified on our 4WD Bapro dyno. Stage 2 is available where supporting hardware is fitted, and we will advise whether it is warranted rather than push it as a default upsell. Beyond outright power, an economy remap suits owners covering serious motorway mileage in an RS6 used as a daily car. We remap the automatic gearbox control unit alongside the engine, and a standalone rolling road session is available for anyone who wants a baseline pull or a health check without a full calibration.

Why RS6 owners remap

Two kinds of RS6 owner come through Eccles. The first uses the car as a daily driver that happens to be an estate with a V8 in it: school run, motorway commute, the occasional B-road on a clear morning, and wants sharper throttle response and a fuller mid-range without changing anything about how the car actually lives day to day. The second is a weekend and track-day owner who already knows what the car is capable of and wants the full extent of it, torque delivery and all, verified properly rather than guessed at.

Both are solved on the same platform and the same visit. The RS6's practicality is not a compromise against performance here, it is simply the shape the car comes in. A remap does not ask the owner to choose between the two.

Engine and stage options

The C8 RS6 runs the EA825, a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 600 bhp from the factory, sent through quattro to all four wheels as standard. The factory calibration on an engine built to work across every market Audi sells the RS6 in is conservative by design, and there is real headroom above it on software alone. Stage 2 needs supporting hardware to unlock safely, chiefly around intercooling and exhaust flow, and we will confirm what your specific car needs before recommending it.

A visit to Eccles

An RS6 booked in at Eccles starts with a baseline pull on the 4WD Bapro dyno, so we have an accurate picture of what your specific car produces before anything is changed. From there the map is developed against that baseline, not a generic file, and applied to the ECU. Verification pulls follow on the same rollers straight afterwards, so the before-and-after comparison is measured on identical equipment in identical conditions, not a different rig on a different day. For most RS6 sessions this is a same-day process; we will confirm timing when you book.

Frequently asked questions

How long will my RS6 be with you?
Most Stage 1 sessions are completed the same day, covering the baseline pull, calibration and verification runs. If Stage 2 hardware is involved we will give you a realistic timeframe once we know what is being fitted.
Do I need to do anything before I bring my RS6 in?
Turn up with a reasonable fuel level and let us know about any existing modifications or fault codes beforehand. Beyond that, no preparation is needed on your part.
Can I watch the dyno session?
Yes. Our facility at Eccles is set up for customers to watch their car on the rollers, and most RS6 owners do.
Is a remap covered by any kind of guarantee?
We will talk you through what is covered before any work begins, including how we handle the map if anything about your car's behaviour changes afterwards. Ask us directly when you book and we will confirm in writing.
What if I only want an economy remap and not more power?
That is a straightforward, standalone request on the RS6 and does not require the Stage 1 power calibration. Tell us that is what you want when you book and we will map accordingly.
