Audi TT RS remap
Daily driver, weekend toy or track-day regular, whichever this is, it starts with the same five-cylinder engine this workshop already knows in depth. Call 0161 302 5117 to talk through your TT RS, or see the full range of Audi remapping we cover.
Every service available on the TT RS
Stage 1 is a software-only calibration and the starting point for most TT RS owners at Eccles. Stage 2 is available where supporting hardware is fitted, principally an upgraded high-pressure fuel pump alongside intercooler and intake work, and we will advise honestly on whether it suits your car and how you use it. We remap the S tronic gearbox alongside the engine, and a standalone rolling road session is available if you want a baseline pull without a full remap. The flame tune option is also available on the TT RS for enthusiast, track-day use, within the usual legal off-road framing.
Why TT RS owners remap
Two kinds of TT RS owner turn up at Eccles. The first drives the car daily and wants the mid-range to feel fuller and the throttle to respond faster without changing anything about how the car lives on the road day to day. The second treats the TT RS as a weekend or track-day car and already knows exactly what the platform can do, wanting the full extent of it confirmed on a dyno rather than guessed at from a forum thread. Both get the same underlying calibration work, just with a different conversation about what they are trying to get out of it.
Engine and stage options
The TT RS shares its 2.5-litre five-cylinder EA855 with the Audi RS3, and on the facelifted car that engine produces 394 bhp / 400 PS from the factory, sent through quattro as standard. That shared engine family is why the figures we quote on the TT RS are not a guess. Stage 1 on this platform sits in the 460 to 490 bhp range, the same verified territory we have established on the RS3's EA855 Evo, measured on the same dyno. Stage 2 needs the supporting hardware mentioned above to unlock properly.
A visit to Eccles
A TT RS session starts with a baseline pull on the 4WD Bapro dyno, giving us an accurate figure for your specific car before anything is touched. The ECU is read directly and the calibration is developed against that baseline, not pushed from a generic file. Once the map is applied, verification pulls follow straight after on the same rollers, so you get a genuine before-and-after comparison from the same session, on the same equipment.
