Car remapping near Haslingden
Manchester Dyno Centre in Eccles, Manchester runs every map on a 4-Wheel-Drive Bapro dynamometer, not a laptop in a car park, and not a generic calibration file.
Dyno proof
There is no shortage of remapping services within reach of Haslingden. Most of them will connect a tool to your OBD port and write a calibration file that was built for a car like yours, not your car. The figures quoted are averages, what that model typically produces after a generic map is applied.
Manchester Dyno Centre works differently. The Bapro dynamometer measures what your engine is actually doing: fuelling, boost pressure, ignition timing and knock events are all monitored live throughout every run. The calibration is developed on the rollers, adjusted in real time, and run again until the data confirms it is right.
What that means in practice is a before-and-after power figure. Your car's output, measured on the dyno, before the work begins. Then measured again when the map is confirmed. Those two numbers are documented and yours when you leave. That is not an add-on or an optional extra, it is how every job here is done, from Stage 1 to Stage 2 and beyond.
