Car tuning in Oldham

Oldham is around 30 minutes from our Eccles, Manchester workshop, a straightforward run across the city via the motorway network. It is the furthest of the main areas we serve, which makes it worth being direct about one thing: the drive is worth it, and here is why.

Most tuners that could serve Oldham locally do not own a dynamometer. They load a map from a laptop, hand you a printed power figure that comes from a generic data sheet, and send you on your way. You have no way of knowing whether that number is real, or whether the map was calibrated for your car or just a car like yours.

At Manchester Dyno Centre, every remap is verified on our 4-Wheel-Drive Bapro dynamometer. You see the before-and-after power and torque graphs from your own vehicle, on the day. That is what 30 minutes across the motorway network gets you.

Who is doing the work

Samuel Gunnell leads all tuning at Manchester Dyno Centre. He has over 10 years of experience as an automotive software programmer, and his work is sought after internationally, not just locally. He operates from our 6,000 sq ft facility in Eccles, Manchester, using professional-grade Kess3 and CMD tooling for both OBD and bench tuning.

This is not a van-based remapper. It is a proper facility, with proper equipment and a lead tuner who has built a reputation on the quality of his maps.
