Samuel Gunnell has been remapping professionally for over ten years. He is the lead tuner at Manchester Dyno Centre, operating out of a 6,000 sq ft facility in Eccles, Manchester, and his work is sought out well beyond the North West. His calibrations have earned him an international reputation for quality within performance tuning circles, this is not a volume operation run on stock files. Samuel builds maps, he does not select them from a library.

For Sale drivers, the facility is approximately 15 minutes away. Every job, regardless of size, is handled personally by Samuel. There is no junior tuner, no technician on a handover list. He reads the ECU, develops or modifies the calibration on the day, and runs the car on the in-house 4-Wheel-Drive Bapro dynamometer until the data confirms the work is right. Fuelling, boost pressure, ignition timing, and knock events are monitored live throughout every run.

You leave with documented before-and-after power figures. The level of direct, personal involvement that Manchester Dyno Centre operates on is not the standard in the remapping industry at any price point.

Performance. Stage 1 remap (software-only, petrol and diesel, developed on the dyno); Stage 2 remap (matched to your hardware modifications and confirmed on the rollers); launch control coding and activation for a consistent standing start; flame tune for a controlled overrun character.

Efficiency. Economy remap optimised for fuel consumption on everyday routes, improving fuelling efficiency at light throttle without removing response when you need it. Gearbox and DSG remap to align transmission behaviour with the engine calibration.

Measurement. Rolling road session on the 4WD Bapro dyno, a documented power figure without calibration work, useful as a standalone baseline before booking a remap or verifying work done elsewhere.

Specialist. Remote platform tuning via Bootmod3 (BM3) and MHD for BMW and Mini owners who cannot attend in person. Speed limiter removal for vans and commercial vehicles where operationally required.
